I. I'm an overly emotional idealist.
2. I live in Arizona, which means it is HOT, but I love the smell of rain in my dry, spry, little desert
3. I am terrified of trying new food but plan on traveling all over the world.
4. I love onions and garlic.
5. I want a kitten *hint hint* wtf
6. I love children but am slightly afraid of them.
7. I am really preoccupied with school, and just finished my junior year of high school and am finally a senior and going places! :P
8. I like rock climbing, metalworking, and glass working. I love badminton, but in the US, no one really plays it except old people *cries*. But actually I play with a group of old people and adore all of them!
9. No one who I know in real life knows my blog url, at least for now. I just want a bit of my own space.
10. I am terrified of eye tests *que brief story time* I always see street signs and such after everyone else, and am afraid I can't see properly but whenever I get my eyes checked they say they're fine *paranoia.
11. I always end up doing really strange things with my friends... like sending my physics teacher an anonymous cd of a 50's song "Mr. Lee" because duh his name is Mr. Lee (but that's actually quite creepy cuz the song has these 3 women singing about how he's so fine and good looking wtf) or helping a friend get over a stupid guy with a hairy chest by making up our imaginary Tante Helga's hair removal ad (Tante Helga= scary German woman threatening to wax your chest with oversize lollipops like in that dibs commercial WTF) and intending to find out his address and send him our advert but we chickened out and felt better anyways just coming up with the thing. ...okay I'm going off on tangents so let's call that good.
12. I work with refugee resettlement and am passionate about humanitarian aid.
13. I appear a lot more knowledgeable than I actually am. I still need to work on knowing what's going on in the world.
14. I want to major in International Studies or International Relations. But secretly I am afraid that I will be intimidated by hard-core IR and Political Science guys for reason number 13. I am just a girl who is passionate about the world and wants to make it a better place. Simple as that.
15. I want to study abroad as much as I can but go to really undesirable places like the Somali refugee camps in Kenya.
16. I want to host lots of international students when I'm grown up and have kids.
